Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain both mechanical and electrical systems in production equipment, including motors, conveyors, and automated machinery.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce the likelihood of breakdowns.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using tools, schematics, and technical documentation. Perform necessary repairs to restore equipment to full functionality.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems that power production machinery.
- Calibrate equipment to manufacturer specifications and ensure machinery operates within established tolerances for maximum efficiency.
- Work on electrical circuits, wiring, control panels, and PLCs to ensure machines operate as intended. Make electrical repairs as necessary.
- Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new machines or equipment. Ensure all new installations are completed safely and per design specifications.
- Accurately document maintenance tasks, repairs, and any equipment replacements. Maintain logs for all performed maintenance activities for quality control and reporting.
