Responsibilities
- Develop and design all tooling, jigs and fixtures, test equipment, gauges as required.
- Assist in the development, design and/or acquisition of new equipment.
- Assists in the preparation of cost justification of capital projects.
- Develop, evaluate and/or improve manufacturing methods and processes through tooling utilization and statistical data.
- Insure timely turnaround of tooling requirements.
- Develop and implement procedures and/or processes to inspect tooling and to ensure all tooling meets the minimum requirements.
- Assess simple tooling and equipment needs and refurbish as required
