Responsibilities
- Manage overall plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement best practices in workflow and workforce utilization.
- Collaborate with peer Plant Managers and sales teams to optimize business operations.
- Develop and oversee annual business labor, productivity plans, and budget requirements.
- Ensure compliance with key manufacturing processes and product CTQ (Critical to Quality) features.
- Identify and resolve process inefficiencies by engaging with operators, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and productive working environment.
- Coordinate manpower planning with Master Scheduling to align with business cycles.
- Support and operate within defined expense and capital budgets.
- Implement corrective measures to maintain operational performance metrics.
- Lead strategies for operational improvements, including work transfers, new product introductions, and business system overhauls.
- Optimize the use of labor, equipment, and resources for maximum efficiency.
- Improve manpower utilization and productivity through department and cross-plant initiatives.
- Drive cost reduction efforts through effective material and capital utilization.
- Ensure achievement of production schedules and adherence to product standards.
- Continuously improve safety performance and compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) regulations.
