Immediate need for manual machinists for small manufacturing company. position is responsible for programming, set-up and operations of both CNC machinery and manual equipment. Ability to follow instructions with accuracy is extremely important as material is typically ordered exact to job quantities. You must have a good work ethic, be reliable and work independently. This position reports to a Lead Machinist. Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, and milling machines. - Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations   

salary: $52,000 - $62,400 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions of machined parts -Use skills to prevent damage to all machines while producing quality parts with minimal scrap 

- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment 

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or parts 

- Fabricate and assemble parts to support assembly areas 

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area Skills 

Proficient in machining techniques and processes 

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings 

- Familiarity with milling machines, lathes, and other manual machining tools 

-  mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills 

- Knowledge of CNC programming and operation is a plus

- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus 

This position requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual machining processes, be able to read blueprints accurately, and possess problem-solving abilities. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential
