We are seeking an Automation Technician/Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing company in Bloomfield, CT. The ideal candidate will be someone with PLC experience, electrical experience, and experience maintaining and repairing automated machinery. We need someone who has the ability to read and understand complex mechanical drawlngs and electrical schematics/blueprints. 

salary: $63,000 - $84,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• The Maintenance/Automation technician serves as a repair resource to production and is charged with repair and maintenance of automation related machinery as well as all other production and facility repair tasks
• The Technician will be responsible for the maintaining of custom electro — mechanical systems
• Critical responsibilities include PLC programming, application of servo systems, robotic application and programming, electrical panel layout and creation and application of vision systems
• To be successful, technicians should be willing to learn and collaborate with other team members
• Perform additional tasks as required such as:
• Work with maintenance team to repair and maintain machinery
