We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Control Panel Designer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and modifying electrical control panels to meet customer specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD software (such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks), electrical circuit design, and a good understanding of electrical systems, control panels, and automation. This position requires that the candidates be able to provide a control systemdesign drawing according to NEC and Underwriter Laboratory guiedleines vis-Auto-CAD from Bill of Materials, Written specifications, and associated contract drawings if avaliable. 

salary: $65,000 - $83,000 per year

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications Include:

• Knowledge and experience in Basic Motor Control and Relay Logic for Lift Stations, Water Treatment Plants, Wastewater Treatment Plants, HVAC/Refrigeration, Boiler and Switchgear.
  
  
• Knowledge and experience designing electrical drawings in AutoCAD 2D. Our AutoCAD program includes a basic library of symbols, circuits, and reference projects.
  
  
• Knowledge and experience designing electrical control systems in AutoCAD utilizing the customer specifications to meet all requirements.
  
  
• 3 years of experience required.
  
  

 

Desired Qualifications Include:

• Experience in design with PLC Digital and Analog Inputs/Outputs
  
  
• Knowledge and experience in the application of Variable Frequency Drives and Solid State Starters manufactured by Square D and Allen Bradley.
  
  
• Knowledge and experience with Programmable Logic Controller, HMI, and programming of Allen Bradley(Logix5000) and Automation Direct
