Responsibilities

 Builds new tools for our customers; interprets drawings to develop build plan
 Troubleshoot molds in collaboration with process engineers
 Inspects completed tools for signs of imperfection or damage that may affect functionality.
 Uses tools to build fixtures; creates dies as required to construct new fixtures.
 Repairs and maintains molds and fixtures when needed; disassembles molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures, then cleans
and reassembles when repaired.
 Reads and understands blueprints and complicated schematics as required to create and build new fixtures,
tools, and machine parts.
 Uses computer-aided design (CAD) software to create designs and/or turn designs into blueprints.
 Uses computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software to program CNC machines.
