Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Perform tool changes and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.
• Edit and modify G-code as needed for optimal machine performance.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist (lathe experience required).
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, making tool adjustments, and performing setups.
• Experience with G-code modifications.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time
