Responsibilities
- CNC Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes, or grinders) to produce precise parts and components based on blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.
- Machine Set-Up: Perform machine set-ups, load materials, and calibrate tools to ensure proper operation before production begins.
- Troubleshooting and Adjustments: Identify and correct issues with machine operation, tooling, and material handling. Adjust machine settings to achieve proper tolerances.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for quality and adherence to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform regular maintenance checks on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Documentation: Accurately record machine settings, production data, and quality control results in production logs and reports.
- Safety: Follow safety protocols and ensure the work environment is clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. strong understanding of CNC programming and machine set-ups.
- Measurement Tools: Familiarity with measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges) and knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in operating CNC machines
