Responsibilities

• Machinist focus on setting up and operating common fabrication shop equipment such as CNC press brake, drill press, PEMserter, band saw, shear, etc
• Further they produce production parts to required tolerances and due dates
• Set up job according to specifications of work order, engineering drawings and related documentation
• Follows directions and produces required quantity of parts
• Works on different types of equipment to carry out a particular phase of the production cycle
• Must produce parts within required tolerances
• Follows all company policies, procedures, and work rules
• Follows work order instructions, blueprint reading and geometric tolerances
