Our client seeks a dedicated individual to work as a Materials Intake Sorter/ Processor in their recycling yard.  This individual  will be responsible for sorting, weighing and processing all incoming scrap metal transactions at a recycling facility. Excellent customer service is priority!  We offer a great work environment, and the ability to learn and grow in the industry. 

salary: $33,280 - $37,440 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service 
• Assist with sorting, and weighing different typers of scrap metals 
• Data entry of all materials being sold 
• Educate customers on proper way to bring in materials prior to processing 

Requirements: 

• Prior sorting experience or a background in recycling, or sorting of materials
• Maintain attention to detail throughout the sorting process.
• Work effectively in a non-climate controlled facility (outside)
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed and stand for the duration of your shift.
• Consent to undergo a background check and drug screen.
• High school diploma/ GED

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

working weekends
