Responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems & electrical systems of machines, have enough knowledge to troubleshoot minor problems.
- Understand materials & cycles so as to explain why different materials require different cycles.
- Make proper adjustments to machines when ware is not running to specs.
- Know proper way to shut down and start up machines, have basic knowledge of all secondary equipment :
- Set-up flaming line, mold heaters
- Quality control - Distinguish different defects, know the different dimensions
- Chart bottles using ERP system
- Document process steps to comply with approved guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining ‘Good Manufacturing Practices’ (GMP) within the plant – including housekeeping on assigned production lines.
- Evaluate and recommend equipment modifications to improve efficiency.
- Assist management in tracking process trends/genesis units.
