Seeking a Quality Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards. This role is responsible for product traceability, inspection documentation, and nonconformance control, supporting overall quality system activities in a fast-paced medical manufacturing environment. 1st and 2nd shift!  Location: Minneapolis, MN Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma or GED required. 1+ year of quality inspection experience (2+ years preferred in medical device or precision manufacturing). Understanding of basic quality systems, inspection standards, and calibration processes. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and specifications. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and visual inspection abilities. Experience using computer systems and hand tools for inspections.  

salary: $43,680 - $58,240 per year

Responsibilities


Perform visual and dimensional inspections on materials, components, and products.
Identify and escalate quality and compliance issues related to products and processes.
Work with Quality Engineering to initiate holds and nonconformance records.
Follow dispatch reports and inspection priorities to meet throughput expectations.
Maintain accurate inspection records and document nonconformances when required.
Ensure compliance with inspection standards, quality system requirements, and specifications.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Perform inspections in at least two areas: incoming, in-process, or lot acceptance.
