Randstad is seeking a skilled Forklift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for maintaining and repairing forklifts. However, when not performing maintenance duties, you will also assist with warehouse tasks and provide excellent customer service, including assisting customers with their orders and loading products into their vehicles.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, such as inventory management and organization.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and ensuring timely delivery to vehicles.
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Forklift Mechanic or in a related maintenance role.
• Ability to perform general warehouse duties and provide customer service when needed.
• strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs
