Responsibilities
- Perform hand soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using both through-hole and surface-mount technology (SMT).
- Inspect solder joints for quality and rework defective connections as needed.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Utilize microscopes, tweezers, and other small tools to handle delicate components.
- Operate and maintain soldering equipment, including soldering irons and reflow ovens.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection guidelines to prevent damage to sensitive components.
- Conduct functional tests on soldered assemblies to verify performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
