Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading waste materials, ensuring safe and efficient collection.
- Help clean the truck and packer blade during landfill stops.
- Perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Assist with waste collection routes, ensuring timely and safe completion of daily tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including wearing non-slip safety shoes, gloves, and safety vests.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds with a team member (buddy lifting).
- Must be physically fit and able to perform labor-intensive tasks throughout the shift.
- Must be available to work Wednesday through Friday from 5:00 AM until finish (usually 11-13 hour shifts).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must wear non-slip safety shoes, gloves, and safety vests
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
- Must be comfortable with outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
