Responsibilities
- Team Leadership and Supervision:
- Supervise and train quality control inspectors.
- Schedule and assign tasks to QC personnel.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback.
- Quality System Implementation and Maintenance:
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures and standards.
- Maintain and update quality control documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations (e.g., ISO standards).
- Inspection and Testing:
- Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Ensure the accurate use of inspection and testing equipment.
- Analyze inspection and test data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Defect Analysis and Resolution:
- Investigate and analyze product defects and non-conformances.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
- Work with production teams to improve manufacturing processes.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed quality control records.
- Prepare and present quality control reports to management.
- Document all inspection, testing, and defect analysis activities.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Participate in quality audits and implement audit findings.
