Responsibilities
- Safely operate the cherry picker to retrieve items from high shelves, up to 30 feet or higher, and place them in designated locations for further processing.
- Follow order sheets or electronic systems to pick food products from shelves, ensuring accuracy in picking the correct items and quantities.
- Assist in regular inventory checks and stock rotation to maintain product freshness and prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Ensure proper handling of food products, particularly perishable items, and report any damages or discrepancies in products or inventory.
- Inspect products for quality and cleanliness, ensuring they meet company standards before they are picked and packed for delivery.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while operating cherry pickers and working in the warehouse. Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other team members to meet daily productivity goals and ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed, ensuring accurate inventory management.
