We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Holbrook, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for performing inspections on mechanical components and systems to ensure they meet precise specifications and quality standards. You will play a crucial role in the quality control process by conducting thorough checks and tests on products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and functionality.

salary: $20 - $25 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical parts and assemblies to verify conformance with specifications and standards.
• Use various measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools to conduct thorough inspections.
• Review technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand product requirements.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections to ensure product quality.
• Document inspection results and prepare reports for management.
• Identify and report any defects, non-conformance issues, or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
• Ensure all safety standards and procedures are followed during inspections.
