Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, hydrostatic, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
- Service and maintain company trucks and travel to customer locations as needed.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Document diagnoses, repair procedures, and parts orders while providing accurate time estimates for job completion.
- Attend and successfully complete required technician training courses.
- Apply practical safety measures and follow standard hazard prevention protocols for working with heavy equipment.
- 2 years of technical training/certification or equivalent experience in the heavy equipment industry.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Proficiency in reading schematics and repairing mechanical, hydrostatic, hydraulic, electrical, and CAN/BUS systems.
- Own and maintain a basic set of tools for diagnosing, disassembling, and reassembling equipment (specialty tools provided).
- Basic oxy-acetylene cutting and welding skills.
