Position Summary:
The Punch Press Setter is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of punch press machines to produce parts according to specifications. This role requires a solid understanding of tooling, blueprints, and quality control procedures. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. First Shift: Monday to Thursday
salary: $45,760 - $54,080 per year

Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust punch press machines, including dies, tooling, and fixtures, according to job specifications and blueprints.
- Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Operate punch press machines to produce parts efficiently and accurately.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tooling and machine malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on punch press machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
- Use measuring tools and gauges to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve processes and efficiency.
- Train and mentor less experienced operators as needed.
