We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our Generator Manufacturing Division in Riverside, Missouri. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in operating machinery and working with precision measuring instruments. Job Duties:
- Set up and operate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling.
- Operate machinery to cut and shape materials based on shop drawings and specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to maintain product quality and operational efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete additional tasks as required by management.
- Ability to follow company policies and guidelines.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Ability to lift materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Minimize material waste through best practice utilization.
- Maintain equipment in a clean, safe, and functional state.
- Communicate effectively with management about machine discrepancies or maintenance needs.
- Track job progress using a computer system.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Responsible for the care and use of workshop tools and equipment.
