Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and test industrial equipment, including power service, motor starters, high/low voltage electrical systems, PLC controls, HMIs, networks (Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, DH+), and electrical field devices (photo eyes, proximity sensors, encoders, limit switches, etc.)
- Use standard electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, recorder, megger, etc.) to conduct and document tests following established procedures
- Update and refine test procedures; train others on proper testing methods
- Perform preventive and general maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and recommend continuous improvements in a High-Performance Organization (HPO) environment
- Coordinate with outside contractors for installations and maintenance as needed
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet specifications and customer demands
- Manage operational budgets and contribute to capital budgeting
- Extensive experience leading production/operations teams in a manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership of multiple teams and departments, including direct and indirect reports
- Extensive project management skills, with experience in planning, organizing, and resource allocation
- Experience in TPM or other lean manufacturing environments
- Preferred experience in food and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Knowledge of FDA/GMP regulations is a plus
- Extensive ability to drive change initiatives and align operational strategies with business goals
