salary: $49,920 - $58,240 per year

Responsibilities

• Be to program, set up and operate multi-spindle bar fed mill-turn CNC lathes to produce parts safely and within specification
• Be able to program with M & G codes, fully set up, and operate the CNC machines
• Be able to load existing program, write or edit M & G codes to successfully produce parts, set up CNC lathe to run required parts and dry run part in single block mode to ensure the program is correct.
• Be able to produce first article inspection part and document dimensions for ISO.
• Ensure parts meet specifications utilizing micrometers, calipers, gauges and other measurement instruments.
• Perform routine machine maintenance prior to each shift to ensure all oils, lubricants and coolant tanks are full, run warm up programs to warm up the machine when/where required, and report any machine issues to maintenance for repair.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 45lbs

standing for 6 hours at one time
