In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining diesel and natural gas generators and engines ranging from 20 kW to 500 kW. Ideal candidates will have 8-15 years of experience in engine and generator systems, with a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical components. As a Level IV Technician, you will lead and mentor junior technicians, perform advanced diagnostics and repairs, and ensure top-quality service for our customers. Responsibilities

Essential Duties

• Service Support:
  
  
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in intermediate and advanced corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure service reports, PM checklists, and timecards are filled accurately.
  • Respond to emergency calls and perform tasks on a flexible schedule.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with engines and generators (e.g., fuel issues, dead batteries).
  • Perform load bank testing, troubleshoot battery chargers, and block heaters.
  • Work on advanced troubleshooting and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Provide customer communication and documentation.
• Safety:
  
  
  • Promote safe working practices in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
  • Report unsafe conditions or acts.
  • Ensure proper PPE usage.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  
  
  • Provide own tools necessary for job completion.
  • Attend required training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
• Supervisory:
  
  
  • Serve as a lead to train lower-level technicians.
