Key Responsibilities:

- Perform visual, mechanical, and dimensional inspections using a variety of tools, including micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.
- Identify and document non-conformances and work with production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure the accurate implementation of customer requirements.
- Conduct periodic audits of manufacturing processes and systems to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and certifications.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures to improve overall manufacturing processes.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, maintaining accurate records for internal and external audits.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance role in a manufacturing or metalworking environment.

- Proficiency with measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and other quality certifications relevant to the metalworking industry.
