Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Install, assemble, and test new or upgraded equipment.
- Inspect production equipment to prevent downtime and failures.
- Maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose issues.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Replace or repair defective parts such as motors, belts, and bearings.
- Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks as required.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Work with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs or parts replacement.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Technician, or similar role.
- strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
