As a Truck & Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trucks and trailers to keep them running safely and efficiently. You’ll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform routine maintenance, and work closely with drivers and supervisors to ensure all equipment meets DOT and safety standards.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Truck & Trailer Mechanic to maintain and repair trucks and trailers, ensuring they run safely and efficiently. You’ll work with other mechanics and supervisors to troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on brakes, steering, lights, air conditioners, transmissions, tires, batteries, and more.
Use diagnostic tools to identify and fix mechanical and electrical issues.
Respond to breakdowns and help transport inoperable vehicles back for repair.
Complete work orders and paperwork accurately and on time.
Follow all safety and DOT regulations to ensure compliance.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace while wearing proper protective equipment.
