• Load programs or designs into the CNC system (usually through CAD/CAM software).
• Ensure the correct positioning and securing of the material to prevent shifting during cutting.
• Make adjustments to speed, feed rates, and other machine parameters as needed.
• Perform routine checks for alignment, accuracy, and precision of cuts.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Maintain accurate records of production and quality control.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Program CNC machines using G-code (if applicable/required).
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist. understanding of CNC machine operation and programming. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of various materials and tooling

The essential functions of this role include:
