Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines (AP100 software) to produce precise components based on blueprints and technical drawings.
- Analyze and interpret machining specifications from blueprints to ensure accurate part production.
- Operate CNC equipment, including Amada AE255 Punches and Amada Ensis 5035 Lasers, for fabricating metal components.
- Perform quality control checks by utilizing precision measuring instruments to verify the dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Collaborate with engineers and operators to address production challenges and improve machine performance.
- Ensure machines are set up, calibrated, and operating efficiently for smooth production processes.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues related to CNC equipment and tooling.
- Maintain and update CNC programs as needed to improve production efficiency and meet changing requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Work closely with the shop team, providing support and guidance to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.
