Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain various machine tools to produce precision parts and tooling.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Measure and inspect completed parts to ensure precision and quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment and tools to maintain efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to improve production quality and minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
- Maintain accurate production and quality control records.
- Utilize manual and CNC machinery for precision machining.
- Apply knowledge of machining techniques, material properties, and GD&T tolerancing.
- Work with CAD/CAM software and 3D design programs (e.g., NX, SolidWorks).
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
