Responsibilities
Serve as the central point of contact for all internal audit functions, overseeing audit plans, schedules, and corrective actions for Clients's Management System. Support the Quality Systems Manager in developing, documenting, and evaluating improvements in quality, environmental, and business systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop individual/team strengths, create training programs, and mentor internal audit staff.
- Set clear goals for individual/team performance and monitor progress.
- Oversee audit plans, schedules, and corrective actions; escalate issues as needed.
- Provide coaching and feedback based on performance reviews.
- Lead teams during crises, ensure fair recognition/reward processes, and drive continuous improvement in operational metrics.
- Foster open communication and encourage input from team members.
- Ensure communication supports continual improvement efforts.
- Update Quality Systems Manager on audit strategy execution.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities through process optimization.
- Support management in standardization, process mapping, and value analysis.
- Facilitate customer/third-party audits and select audit teams.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum six years of related experience.
- ASQ certification in Quality Management, Quality Engineering, or Quality Auditing.
- Working knowledge of ISO9000:2000, ISO14001, TL9000, and related standards.
