Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement supply chain strategies, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics planning.
- Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Inventory Optimization: Implement inventory control procedures, minimize stockouts and excess inventory, and optimize warehouse operations.
- Logistics & Distribution: Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Performance Analysis & Improvement: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Process Improvement & Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership (where applicable): Lead and mentor supply chain teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulations and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, production, engineering, and finance teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
