We are actively hiring a Quality Inspector responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of manufactured products by implementing and maintaining quality control procedures and standards. This role involves leading a team of quality control inspectors, monitoring production processes, and identifying and resolving quality issues to ensure products meet customer and company specifications.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and monitor the quality of metal fabrication, machining, and welding processes, ensuring adherence to specifications and industry standards.
• Perform visual, mechanical, and dimensional inspections using a variety of tools, including micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.
• Identify and document non-conformances and work with production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure the accurate implementation of customer requirements.
• Conduct periodic audits of manufacturing processes and systems to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and certifications.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures to improve overall manufacturing processes.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, maintaining accurate records for internal and external audits.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.

Skills:

• Proficiency in quality control principles, such as statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing
• Understanding of ISO standards and other relevant industry regulations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Ability to analyze quality data and identify trends
• Proficiency in using quality control software and tools
