- Set up and operate press brake machines to form metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for different materials and thicknesses.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient production workflow.
- Experience operating press brake machines (Amada, Cincinnati, Bystronic, or similar).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- Basic knowledge of measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment is preferred.
