Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machinery used in production (e.g., CNC machines, presses, or assembly lines).
- Monitor machine performance to ensure smooth operation.
- Adjust machine settings and controls as needed to produce quality products.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machines to ensure they are working properly.
- Troubleshoot and address any mechanical issues or malfunctions.
- Keep machines clean and lubricated to prevent breakdowns.
- Inspect products during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform tests and measurements to verify product specifications.
- Adjust processes or machinery settings if products are out of tolerance.
- Load materials into machines and ensure they are properly positioned for operation.
- Monitor and manage raw materials and inventory.
- Ensure efficient and safe handling of materials and finished products.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Report safety hazards and help maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Maintain accurate records of machine performance, maintenance, and production output.
- Report any issues with production or machinery to supervisors or managers.
- Fill out production logs and quality control forms.
- Work with other team members, such as supervisors, quality control inspectors, and engineers.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and provide feedback to improve processes.
