Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions and may change due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving and shipping areas.
- Ensure accuracy of customer orders, inventory receipts, and shipments.
- Inspect delivered products for damage and verify quantities, noting discrepancies.
- Record inventory movements in the company’s control system.
- Organize inventory to prevent damage and ensure easy retrieval.
- Supervise truck drivers to ensure timely and safe order deliveries.
- Ensure proper routing and accuracy of customer orders.
- Arrange LTL shipments to maximize cost efficiency.
- Maintain company trucks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment.
- Keep warehouse, grounds, showroom, and service areas clean and safe.
- Provide safety training, conduct inspections, and monitor staff compliance.
- Manage staff, assign tasks, conduct performance reviews, and enforce uniform policies.
