Great opportunity for a Quality Inspector in CT! We are seeking a Quality Inspector for a manufacturing company in Manchester, CT. The ideal candidate will be someone who has solid experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools. This candidate should have knowledge of GD&T and be able to read and understand blueprints. Basic math skills and computer skills are required. 

salary: $52,000 - $55,000 per year

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

Layout Inspection and Test: Responsible for inspection of the dimensional, visual, and testing requirements of the new product process approval function.  Inspectors use the customer’s specifications and PGT forms and procedures to fully inspect products to all drawing callouts and perform capability studies on all critical products features. 

All Elements: 

Responsible for the analysis of the data collected to determine its acceptability to specifications.

Responsible for the accurate and timely recording of data that exhibits out of control or out of specification characteristics through the Non-conforming material reporting system.

Responsible for communicating out of specification conditions to the appropriate personnel available on that shift.

Responsible for the effective containment of suspect product identified by the QA element.

Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly working area.

Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
