Responsibilities

Duties

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on extrusion equipment and facility systems according to established schedules to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections of extrusion machinery, identifying and addressing any mechanical, electrical, or operational issues to prevent breakdowns and maintain production schedules.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions using various tools and techniques, and implement effective repair solutions in a timely manner to minimize disruption to production.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized equipment repairs or facility maintenance projects.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field. Experience with gas injection or extrusion equipment is very desirable.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems commonly found in manufacturing machinery.
• strong understanding of extrusion processes, including material handling, heating and cooling systems, die design, and product quality control, preferred.
• Experience with general facilities maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, chillers, and building infrastructure repairs.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to effectively diagnose and repair equipment and facility issues.
