Responsibilities
- Ensures quality standards by inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, while accurately recording inspection results.
- Verifies and approves in-process and finished products by checking specifications, performing visual and measurement tests, and coordinating necessary rework.
- Reviews purchase orders, special process certifications, operation sheets, blueprints, and other specifications to confirm all parts and materials meet compliance requirements.
- Maintains a safe and compliant work environment by following established standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
- Conducts First Article Inspections and documents results, including reports, logs, rework summaries, and waste tracking, while updating the quality database.
- Ensures measurement equipment remains in proper working condition by following operating guidelines and requesting repairs when needed.
