Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Assist and lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing and shipping of products.
- Assist in assigning and managing inventory – utilizing forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety and OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Lead and train warehouse employees in a variety of roles.
- Ensure efficient workflow, receiving and timely order fulfillment by implementing and enforcing inventory control procedures as well as other relates SOPs.
- Identifies problems, proposes solutions to members of management as well as promote cooperation/teamwork within warehouse.
- Assists in implementation of procedures within the warehouse.
- Reviews warehouse functions and productivity and ensures department meets KPIs.
- strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Previous Warehouse experience and leading a team is required.
- Forklift certified.
- Heavy lifting up to 60 lbs is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in materials handling techniques, including heavy lifting and proper use of equipment.
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes, knowledge of small parcel, LTL and FCL modes of transport required.
- Computer skills, such as Microsoft Office (word, email and excel), and knowledge of UPS Worldship, as well as Starship preferred.
