Responsibilities
- Unload freight manually or using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inspect and unpack incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and communicate with shippers as necessary.
- Receive, stage, pick, pack, and ship products with accuracy and efficiency using handheld barcode scanners and the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Assist with regular warehouse activities, including cleaning, product consolidation, cycle counts, and other assigned tasks.
- Serve as a backup driver to deliver company products, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries to customers.
- Operate tier lift trucks or hand trucks to move shipments from shipping/receiving areas to storage or work areas.
- Utilize a computer for daily tasks, including checking and responding to emails.
