We’re looking for a dedicated Cylinder Repair Technician to join our team. This position focuses primarily on repairing and honing cylinders, while also working with pumps, motors, and valves. Key Responsibilities:
- Cylinder Repair: Specialize in honing and repairing hydraulic cylinders, ensuring optimal functionality and precision.
- Disassembly & Assembly: Tear down pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves for repair, and reassemble after repairs are completed.
- Testing: Test repaired pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves to ensure they meet performance standards.
- Machine Shop Assistance: Assist with machine shop operations as needed, including working with lathe and mill equipment.
- Parts Identification & Ordering: Diagnose issues, identify parts needed for repairs, and request parts and materials to complete jobs.
- Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, adhere to safety protocols, and perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Quality Control: Ensure all repairs meet company quality standards and ISO procedures.
- 3+ years of experience in hydraulic repair or related mechanical work.
- Excellent hands-on mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Experience with cylinder repair and honing, or a willingness to learn.
- Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring deadlines and safety standards are met.
- High School Graduate or GED, with vocational or technical school training preferred.
- Experience in pump, motor, and valve repair.
- Experience with lathe operation, vertical mills, and drill presses.
- Familiarity with ISO procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities
- Repairs pumps, motors, cylinders and valves
- Tear down pumps, motors, cylinders and valves for repair. Identify parts needed to repair.
- Build new pumps, motors, cylinders and valves.
- Assist in machine shop as needed.
- Test completed pumps, motors, valves and cylinders according to written procedures.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjusts parts, equipment and machinery.
- Record parts and materials needed and request new parts and materials as necessary.
- Maintain a neat and orderly shop.
- Hone/repair barrels.
- Provide assistance in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and controls.
- Maintain test stands and equipment in accordance with ISO procedures.
- Know, understand and abide by environmental policies.
- Weld as needed
