Responsibilities

 Set up, adjust and maintain industrial production machinery.
 Plan and Conduct equipment upgrades and rebuilds.
 Assist to fabricate and repair all furnace fixtures and fabricate/purchase/install replacement parts as needed.
 Perform equipment repair involving furnace brick and high temperature insulation blanket.
 Perform maintenance and repairs to vacuum furnace hot zone and manifold train.
 Program and verification of parameters on temperature controllers.
 Diagnostics and repair/replacement of temperature sensing and control instrumentation.
 Diagnose and repair moderate electrical problems involving motors and electric furnace heaters.
 Perform electrical installations.
 Maintain necessary records of repairs; enter completed work orders on the computer.
 Inspect on a routine basis electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and other components to ensure
they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.
