The Field Service Technician maintains service and repairs the company’s mechanical equipment in the field including pumps, generators and related equipment. salary: $41,600 - $66,560 per year

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairing, and maintaining the company’s diesel pumps, fleet and mechanical equipment
• Performing quality checks on repaired equipment items
• Maintaining service order processes, providing descriptions of repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment, and ensuring the appropriate paperwork is filed
• Performing repairs and maintenance on equipment at job sites when needed
• Procuring parts and supplies as required

Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card required
• Appropriate equipment repair certification desired
• Experience in servicing and repairing diesel engines desired
• Experience with electric motors a plus!
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements
• Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 3 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

Mechanical Maintenance (3 years of experience is preferred)

Diesel pumps (3 years of experience is preferred)

diesel engine maintenance (3 years of experience is preferred)

hydraulics (3 years of experience is preferred)

project management (3 years of experience is preferred)

electrical systems (3 years of experience is preferred)
