Responsibilities
Developing control plans and methods for inspecting incoming sheet metal, machined parts, and fixtures.
Conducting first article inspections, in-process checks, and final inspections for machined and sheet metal parts, using both visual and mechanical methods.
Reviewing and approving returned parts to ensure proper completion.
Identifying and addressing quality issues related to processes, products, and production during the shift.
Collaborating with design engineers and technicians to develop verification and validation protocols.
Assisting in the creation of inspection processes and selecting appropriate inspection equipment when needed.
Ensuring all inspection equipment is properly calibrated and arranging repairs as necessary.
