Responsibilities
Laminate layers of fiberglass on molds, mix catalysts into resin, and select fiberglass mats, clot
as required by projects being assembled.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Select fiberglass materials, mix catalysts into resin and apply using brushes.
- Apply layers of plastic resin to mold surfaces prior to placement of fiberglass mats,
- Repeating layers until products have the desired thickness and plastics have jelled.
- Prep and paint parts using spray application.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked on work orders.
