Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement processes, including product/service sourcing, supplier selection, and continuous evaluation of supplier performance through negotiations for existing parts and services to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct pricing and terms negotiations to ensure favorable agreements for the organization.
- Manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement activities.
- Provide coaching and guidance to lower-level professionals, reviewing their work and fostering professional development.
- Address difficult and complex problems faced in the procurement process, applying advanced knowledge and experience to find effective solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement and operational buying.
- Proven expertise in direct operations procurement, including raw materials, manufacturing services, production resources, or retail products.
- Negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable terms and pricing.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior team members.
