Large building supply company located in Nesconset is hiring for CDL B drivers for their warehouse operations. Qualified candidates for this role will posess a clean drivers licence and have a valid Commerical B License. Responsibilities

• Must be comfortable driving a 24ft box truck and traveling across Long Island ( 90% Local and 10% Brooklyn and Queens)
• Operate and drive a Class B vehicle, such as a delivery truck or flatbed, to transport lumber and related products to designated destinations.
• Ability to operate a forklift or other equipment for loading and unloading materials is an advantage
• Handle lumber materials with care, following guidelines for proper stacking, storage, and organization within the vehicle to prevent damage and ensure safety during transport.
• Collaborate with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 40lbs
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
