Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately measure, weigh, and count products to prepare for packaging.
- Load products into package processing equipment.
- Mark and label containers, container tags, or products using appropriate marking tools.
- Sort and organize products, materials, containers, and orders using hand tools.
- Place or pour products and materials into containers using hand tools and equipment.
- Remove defective or completed products and materials from the work area.
- Seal containers or packages to ensure secure closure.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards during all packing processes.
- Must have experience working with food products.
- Food safety certification is a plus.
- Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of packaging equipment and hand tools.
- strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
